When you run a report either from the IDE or from the stand-alone report runner ReportsAnywhere will generate a print preview of the report.

  1. The name of the report is shown in the title bar.
  2. The menu bar. For available commands see below (toolbar).
  3. The toolbar.
    reload Reload the data from the database, using the current variable settings.
    Print directly to default printer.
    Show print dialog.
    CSV Export to office as comma separated values (CSV).
    HTML Select Export Html to export the data as a html file which can be viewed with a web browser. This will bring up the html export wizard where you can set exporting options.
    Select Export Pdf to export the report as a pdf file which can be viewed with a web browser. This will bring up the file chooser where you can select the output file.
    XML Select Export Xml to export the data as a html file which can be viewed with a web browser. This will bring up the file chooser where you can select the output file.
    Show first, previous, next, last page.
    Scale This allows you to enlarge or shrink the preview.
    Page Shows the current page number. You may jump directly to a different page by entering the number.
  4. The page as it will be printed.
