Use the file chooser to select files for reading and writing.

1. The toolbar of the file chooser. Use new to create a new folder. Use del to remove the selected file/folder. The Home button is a shortcut that opens the user home folder. The System button takes you to the database system folder. The location of this directory is configurable in the user settings.
2. The directory pane. Use it to select the directory of your files.
3. The file pane. It shows the list of files in the selected directory.
4. The folder selection. Shows the name of the currently selected folder.
5. The selection. Shows the name of the currently selected file.
6. The file type filter.
